This set of tunes was tongue-in-cheek referred to as the "Skapera." We played it live a number of times between 2005-2007.
We recorded this on a hot summer night in 2006 in a basement in North Minneapolis, right before heading north for a show in Duluth.
The rhythm section was all recorded in one 14 minute take.
The snare drum mic crapped out after "Relapse."
The raw files sat on a hard drive for all of this time and I've recently rediscovered them. I've since mixed and produced the Skapera and here it is, finished in 2021, for the very first time.
